French press recipe and how to brew
A basic recipe for brewing medium-roast coffee with the French press.

The key is a good stir right at the start so the water reaches all the grounds.

Steps

Pour slowly in circles so the water reaches all the grounds evenly.

Stir a few times with a spoon, gently pushing the grounds down.

Steep until 4:00.
- 4:00Press
At 4:00, press the plunger down slowly (until about 4:20). Pour into cups or another container right after pressing, and leave the last bit near the grounds at the bottom.
