OREA dripper recipe and how to brew
A basic recipe for brewing medium-roast coffee with the OREA.
OREA pour-over basics, medium roast (15 g · 250 g)
Pouring gently in circles from the center spreads the water evenly over all the grounds.

Steps

Set the filter in the dripper and level the grounds.
- 0:00Bloomto 50 g
From 0:00, pour to 50 g (50 g over about 8–10 s). Next pour at 0:30. Pour slowly in circles from the center over all the grounds.
- 0:30Pour 1to 100 g
From 0:30, pour to 100 g (50 g over about 6–13 s). Next pour at 1:00. Layer the water gently from the center outward without breaking the bed of grounds.
- 1:00Pour 2to 175 g
From 1:00, pour to 175 g (75 g over about 9–19 s). Next pour at 1:30. Keep pouring gently at a steady pace to hold the water level.
- 1:30Pour 3to 250 g
From 1:30, pour to 250 g (75 g over about 11–27 s). It should drain by about 2:40. Pour the last of the water and wait for it to finish.
How this recipe is built
Brewed calmly at a regular ratio to bring out the character of medium-roast beans. The flat bottom makes it easy to pour the same way each time.
