A basic recipe for brewing medium-roast coffee with the HARIO Switch.

Soaking all the grounds well during the bloom makes the rest of the brew go smoothly.

Steps
- Prep
Set the dripper with the switch closed.
- 0:00Bloomto 44 g
Pour in circles from the center so the water reaches all the grounds.
- 0:26Pourto 240 g
Gently pour the rest of the water at a steady pace.

Keep the valve closed and steep until 2:00.
- 2:00Open valve (drain)
At 2:00, open the valve to drain. Around 3:15, when no water is left on top of the grounds, remove the dripper.
