A basic recipe for brewing medium-roast coffee as flash-chilled iced coffee.
Flash-chilled iced coffee basics (V60, with ice)
Pouring in circles draws the flavor evenly from all the grounds.

Steps
- Prep the server
Put ice in the server and set the dripper on top.
- 0:00Bloomto 28 g
From 0:00, pour to 28 g (28 g over about 5–6 s). Next pour at 0:30. Pour in circles from the center to wet all the grounds.
- 0:30Pour 1to 55 g
From 0:30, pour to 55 g (27 g over about 5–7 s). Next pour at 1:00. Pour gently from the center outward with a thin stream.
- 1:00Pour 2to 137 g
From 1:00, pour to 137 g (82 g over about 12–29 s). It should drain by about 2:12. Gently add the last of the water and wait for it to drain.
- 2:12Swirl
Swirl the server lightly to melt the ice and chill it evenly.
- Remove dripper
Lift the dripper off the server and you're done.
How this recipe is built
Brewed with balance to bring out the character of medium-roast beans. Put ice in the server first so the coffee chills as it drips.
